DOSE ANY ONE KNOW ABOUT THE LEMON LAWS OF SELLING A CAR ?

MY TWO BROTHERS HAD BAUGHT VEHICALS FROM MY DADS SHOP. ONE HAD A DEPLOYED AIRBAG AND HE CANT GET IT SMOG AND REG TILL THE AIRBAGS ARE FIXED. AND THE OTHER THERE IT WOULDN’T PASS SMOG 3X TILL MY BOYFRIEND FIXED IT. NOW THAT PART OF MY FAMILY IS MAD AT ME BECAUSE I AM STICKING UP FOR MY BROTHERS. WHAT CAN I DO/

    Federal Lemon Law is for brand new vehicles only when the repairs are not satisfactory under the warranty…not on a used vehicle!

    Lemon Laws would not apply here.

    Used cars are “as-is” unless specified at point-of-sale (for instance, a dealer offering a warranty or the manufacturer’s warranty being in place). Your brother(s) should have had the cars checked out by an independent mechanic.
